Phononic Named a CNBC Disruptor for the Second Year in a Row!

June 17, 2019

Phononic’s done it again! Last week, we were recognized for our revolutionary approach to cooling and heating, ranking #33 on the 2017 CNBC Disruptor 50. CNBC selects the 50 most innovative companies each year based on feedback from entrepreneurial experts around the world. This is the second consecutive year that we’ve made the list and it’s a testament to not only our development of semiconductors, components and products, but also the success of their commercial adoption…including our now-announced partnership with life sciences leader Thermo Fisher Scientific (NYSE:TMO).

Since being named a Disruptor last year, we have signed major partnerships with some of the largest healthcare companies and providers worldwide, expanded into new global markets, launched new products across healthcare, fiber optics, and commercial beverage industries and raised nearly $70 million in funding.

But what’s the cherry on top? CNBC’s Mad Money invited our CEO and co-founder, Tony Atti, to discuss Phononic’s overall success and development for the second time. Last Friday, May 19, Tony was on the set of Mad Money talking new strategic partnerships, progress and developments and what the future looks like for Phononic. If you missed the segment, don’t worry, we’ve included a few pictures captured on set and have included the video for your viewing pleasure, here.
